Johna Lepcha (Sponsor Ms. Mamta Borgoyary, Gurgaon)
Johna presently is in St. Philomena's School, Kalimpong. Before joining this school she went to a primary school in Maria Basti (St Mary’s Primary School). Johna comes from a very poor family of one brother and three sisters. They are so poor that they do not have a land of their own nor a proper house to live. They stay in some one else’s land. Since there is no school near her house Johna had to walk for four to five hours up and down in a day to attend the school. Johna’s parents are unable to pay both the tuition and hostel fee. MARG with the help of its sincere sponsors has been able to ignite smile in Johna’s face by supporting her hostel fee since she was in class three. Presently she is in class seven
